A Note From Rebecka

Hiya, friend! I hope you are feeling peace and appreciating blessings of the day!
I have always been interested in the brilliantly designed human body. I remember as a little girl standing behind my mom and, still being shorter than her shoulders even as she was sitting, reaching up to "massage" her back just for the fun of it (the "ooh"s and "ah"s, I'm sure were genuine. Haha!) I've always enjoyed giving massages. Once I got older, I was really interested in learning about the body and how everything functions together. It still fascinates me, even with my daily work-- doing therapy on various bodies, and figuring out what the issue causing tension is and how to fix it. God designed us so artfully!
When I got to college, I started practicing yoga and learning more about the body and its mechanics in that light, then I was inspired to go to teacher training. As with anything, the more I learn, the more I'm intrigued and realize there's always more to learn. What an awesome cycle! I've seen that yoga can help maintain peace and thoughtfulness in my day, along with all its obvious physical benefits.
Finally, my ultimate goal has always been to "catch" babies. I feel a passion to be "with woman" and support mamas while they venture through the miraculous process of growing and birthing their wee ones. It is incredible to me to think about how women's bodies know just what to do when they are free to do their work. On the rare occasion that something in the birth process strays from the norm, midwives are fully capable of taking care of mother and baby, whether it's safely transporting to hospital or remedying the situation at home. I just can't get enough of serving at births! It is absolutely beautiful!
I hope my joy is contagious and helpful to your life. I also hope you'll come and let me share these healthful, beneficial, and uplifting offerings with you!
